How do bands usually release/sell these documentaries? Would love to watch this Friday...

sometimes they require you to buy a digital copy. sometimes they throw it up on youtube. doubt it will be available as a physical copy.

Awesome. Would be cool if they had some video from Chicago or the acoustic in Appleton cause I'd definitely be in both.

Couldn't they release on Spotify as a video? I mean, it was first announced through the 'fans first' email from Spotify. Not sure I've ever watched one of the videos on Spotify.

They used the word “movie” in their statement about it so I doubt it’s short?

There’s a premiere event for it, my guess is it’s 45m to an hour

Wish more of my favorite bands released docs. My favorite has to be Mistaken for Strangers (The National).

I loved On a Carousel of Sound, We Go 'Round by The Snake The Cross The Crown.

Also only slightly a band documentary but The Devil and Danial Johnston is great.

Side note, one of the bands that I really wish got pressed to vinyl at some point.
