Does anyone know the occasion? Do they have an album coming up? The most recent one was not too long ago. I'm a huge Man Orch fan but I really didn't dig A Black Mile To The Surface. I love all their other albums.

Huh, I’d imagine you’d like Black Mile, if you like everything else. It’s one of my favorites from them. Maybe I’m crazy, haha.

  5. I think that’s the consensus. Great album. This fits right in with it.

Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

Black Mile is incredible...they’ve mellowed our a lot but that voice, the musicianship, songwriting and stories are all just pure quality. This song is right on track with where their latest sound has been, just beautiful stuff imo

My favourite album of the past several years. I might not listen to it as often as I did when their previous ones were released, but I was outrageously impressed by it and find it so powerful when I do play it.

BMTS songs are so good live too. When I saw them in London it was almost like a film soundtrack.

This song was originally and roughly formed a few years ago, about the impending weight of the future; it almost made it onto Black Mile, but hadn't fully formed yet. We spent some solid time this year revisiting and reworking and recording the song into its final state. I found it inspiring to work on this song right before the birth of my son, which was and is beautiful impending weight.
