This is a really good record, I know it's just John from the OG lineup but it still sounds like Goldfinger.

 

I just picked this album up, it is definitely my summer album this year. Shame it went under the radar. I only waited so long because i hadn't been a fan of their last few, and got the tip from a friend of mine. It is so good though.

 

People were too busy blindly projecting their hate on it (saying it sounded like Cali lol no) when almost all of it is pretty classic Goldfinger lol

Heh, was also just going to ask this. Weird seeing Mike sing Phil's parts in the video.

For sure! Love this album!

 

I actually like this album a lot. I get the hate behind it but it’s so fun. It’s a good road trip album.

Cool video too. Tons of energy you don’t really see in other band videos. They gave zero fucks in this haha.

 

It’s just a fun Goldfinger record, that’s it. Unrealistic expectation let’s people down

 

That's what is amazing. This sounds like every other Goldfinger record. Amazing how consistent they are.

 

I have a feeling it sounds so consistent because of how much Feldman does. He writes, produces, records so I bet that had a lot to do with it!

 

Mike is singing his parts.. He recorded the new album...

 

I know he recorded the album, but I could swear that some of the parts in the song was distinctly Phil's voice. It threw me off when watching the video at least.

 

My god, I can only wish to have half the energy John Feldmann has when I'm 50 years old.

 

I guess that's what you get for playing and creating music all your life (as long as the drugs and booze don't get you)

 

I will always have a soft spot for Goldfinger. I do miss Charlie, Darrin and Kelly tho.

 

I thought the exact same thing, especially since we see him surfing and skating in the last video.
