i MAY have let out a small scream when i saw this pop up

i love this band and have been listening since high school. i've never seen an og pressing go on sale for less than $100, i preordered this so fast

 

I got my Small Steps black copy for around 30 2 or 3 years ago, SOMEHOW

 

Tempting.

 

I was doing so well not buying vinyl.. Purchased these so quick

 

SSHH is soooo good.

 

Have an original pressing of Small Steps on translucent yellow but never was able to get Drunk Like Bible Times, so I jumped on this

 

Have you heard Ian's new project, The Gentle Hits? They put a full length out last year, it's on Spotify and is pretty similar.

 

Yeah I'd still do anything for an OG copy of DLBT, hope one goes up for sale given this repressing.

 

thank you for posting this...been wanting both of these since I started collecting vinyl a few years ago.

 

I got lucky and bought BOTH records on colored vinyl off eBay, together at once, for like $50 a couple years ago. I hit up their old booking manager asking if they had any lying around before I lucked into finding those -- she didn't, but then CC'd Ian, who also didn't.. but then I looped him into a tattoo idea and have his handwriting on my wrist.

 

Same. Good record.

 

The best record, and I love how it's rearranged on vinyl.

His new band The Gentle Hits has a pretty similar sound, worth checking out if you're a fan.

 

I hope they press The Gentle Hits. Still have my OG copies of these, otherwise I'd be really excited to buy.
