    Wow what a nice surprise!

  3. If anyone slept on the album he released under the moniker Mercy Street, it's incredible:

I enjoyed the last Rufio album Anybody Out There, but the instrumentation was a little too simplified. Scott (and Rufio) is at his best when he's writing riffy music like this and the Mercy Street album. This release is pretty amazing.

If you aren't friends with him on Facebook or follow the Rufio page, he pretty much wrote and recorded these songs on a one-per-day basis. I think he released them one by one over the course of 8 or 9 days which makes the quality of this release all the more impressive.

sounds exactly like old Rufio. I'll be honest; I didn't know people still listened to this kind of music, but he does it so well. Good for him.

This is really great. Major shreddage. Really great tunes so far.

It feels like a soundtrack to a movie or something. Good stuff.

Love this so much. Didn't care a lot for the last Rufio record. This makes up for it.

Goodness, I miss my favorite band. But I'm glad that we got Mercy Street, Scott's old soundcloud demos and now this EP!!

Not sure if anyone follows him on social media, but he's already put up seven more songs on his Soundcloud that are the same style/quality as The Judge. Not sure if he has more unreleased material to go with it, but he apparently plans to do another release with these songs soon. It's actually insane how quickly he can pump out quality material.

What that's awesome. Judge itself would've been a top Rufio album for me. Love it
