    For some context, Liam Gallagher had to end his set early because his voice was shot. The Killers have a history of doing a cover like this when somebody on the bill canceled/got rained out/etc. They played a Muse cover after Muse got rained out at Lolla, they did a Morrisey cover when he canceled on KROQ Christmas in December.

    I was about to ask for some context because it seems like a really boring/obvious song for an indie band to cover haha. Makes sense now though and that's kinda cool too..
