Mayday Parade Gets a Gold Album

There's a reason it's the only one.

Aw good for them! That's a pretty cool accomplishment.

 

How did that take so long?

 

Mayday's last album is better than anything Jason's released post-Go Radio though lol

 

Good for them. Excited for the next album. I think all of their albums, except for the first one after Jason left, have been really solid.

 

Stoked for them.

 

I loved Black Lines. For where my tastes are currently at, it's the one I come back to the most.

 

This is easily their best album. Still so catchy. The anniversary tour last year made me remember just how much I love this record.

 

Yeah same. I occasionally listen to ALIR for the nostalgia, but other than that all I ever listen to is BL. I feel like A lot of people didn't give it a chance because Of The few before it which sucks.

 

This album still holds up well.

 

Have to say I enjoy this the least out of all their albums somehow. Definitely part of the minority in that regard.

 

I think it's an almost universal opinion that Anywhere But Here is their worst

 

The self-titled was solid, but BL has the raw energy and emotion I crave haha.

 

This is my least favorite album by them. Kinda can't stand Jason and his lyrics. Oh welllll

 

Black Lines is their best album. Every other Mayday album sounds pretty much the same. Wasn’t even going to buy/listen to Black Lines cause I knew it would sound exactly like all their other albums but glad I did. That album is great.

 

I can't believe it's 2018 and I still have to read comments about Mayday Parade being worse without Jason

 

It’s about time! Classic and pivotal album for the scene!

 

This album is tied with the self-titled as my favorite. Mayday Parade hasn't released a disappointing album.

It's also worth noting that 'Miserable At Best' was declared gold by the RIAA.

 

Self Titled is where it's at. Honesty'y shocked it took over ten years for this thing to go gold.

 

I'm surprised it went gold at all. What other records from this era in this scene have gone gold other than So Wrong It's Right?

A Day To Remember have two Gold albums (Homesick and Separates), three Gold singles, and one Platinum single. So Wrong, It's Right from All Time Low, Sempiternal from Bring Me The Horizon, and The Poison from Bullet For My Valentine went Gold.

Hawthorne Heights' first two albums went gold lol.
