    The one on Spotify has vocals and is a lot better than this version. Same guy who did this remix though.

    I like doing remixes because it's a cool take on a song. Plus, some remixes easily destroy the original version.

    Are you talking about remixes or covers? I can think of plenty of covers that blow the original out of the water. I can't think of any remixes that do the same thing.

    I don't like remixes. I don't care if people do them, but i hate that Spotify adds them to my new music playlist.

    I find a few bands make music conducive to good covers. Though for a lot of others it can sound really forced or loses the qualities that made the original song what it was. For example, I love a lot of the From Indian Lakes remixes - the Absent Sounds remix album competes with the original for me.
