Speak The Truth…Even If Your Voice Shakes – “Drowning On The Sidewalk or Dying Inside” Video

The combination of this band name and song title sounds like a high schooler trying to stretch a 750 word essay into 1000 so they don't get docked on their grade.

 

I haven’t listened to this yet straight because of the name.

 

Horrendous band name and song name aside this is Buddy from Senses Fail on vocals so it's at least worth a listen. I remember the last song they put out was decent.

Speak The Truth is a decent enough band name by itself.

 

Name is long but not particularly bad imo. and the song (and record) is catchy as hell. Video is solid too.

 

I do like it...anyone knows more about new Senses Fail I mean it’s been while since Buddy posted those clips right?iam kinda lost with the release date if there is any at all

 

I think a song is supposed to come out the 30th.

 

New album is called If There Is Light, It Will Find You and it comes out February 18th and the first single comes out Thursday

Yeah they shoulda just called it Senses Finch.

 

I read in an interview that these are literally the songs that were going on the next Finch record (or at least, they had songs for the Finch record and that's why they formed this band). So yeah. This is essentially Finch with Buddy singing instead of Nate.

 

I truly don't understand what's going on right now in Buddy's world as far as his bands. He initially formed Bayonet to release heavy music, then decided to retire that and just make Senses Fail heavy, then formed Speak The Truth to emulate the old SF sound but now is making the new SF record just sound like old SF anyway?????

 

I miss Bayonet. I'm gonna go listen to some Bayonet right now.

 

I should listen to this but the name is straight putting me off. I'll give it a go anyway,

Wait they just put out an album 2 weeks ago called "Everyone You Love Will Slip Away from You"

 

That person was referring to the new Senses Fail album, which is 'If There Is Light..."

 

I didn’t even know Bayonet was a thing. How many albums did they release?
