Do they use 7 strings? or what tuning is this?

 

Honestly I always thought they were just 6-string/Drop D. It's the distortion or guitar tone that makes it sound heavy as shit.

 

Anyone know if they're doing any fun pre-order bundles or anything?

Thanks for the update, so excited for this album. I’m going to wait for the full thing to formulate an opinion but I wish there was some vinyl in the bundles they posted on their website

I may just be really bad at this internet thing, but how come I'm not seeing an option to preorder the physical CD? When I click on the link for Material Control, it only seems to offer the digital download, but some of the bundles include a CD copy.

 

Love this Mu Empire-esque atmosphere.

 

Amazon has a CD-only pre-order. For whatever reason they don't seem to have that on their official site.

This song is so good. Holy cow. Love the bass love the guitars. Love the vox. Love the drums.

 

Really tempted to listen to this but don't have earphones and am trying to stay patient for the album. I can wait 4 more days..... I think.

 

It's pretty good on 1st listen. Classic Glassjaw in most regards. Heavy, has kind of a strange structure, and has moments of catchiness amidst all the chaos. Also, a guitar solo???

 

Exactly what I felt. Shall be interesting to hear what the entirety of the album sounds like.
