Blink-182’s Full Lollapalooza Set

Saw them play in Columbus last week. They sounded better live than they did last summer. New songs sound good live, but the old Tom songs still sound off with Matt singing (obviously), but it's just great seeing them happy and continuing to stay active.

 

XM radio was playing their set this morning. I enjoyed it.

 

I wish Matt looked like he wanted to be there...

 

Travis has no instruments in his monitors and just a click track? That's insane

 

This explains a lot. I've watched for years wondering how the hell Travis stays solid with what's going on around him. That's how.

To be fair - a good majority of blink fans spend their entire time telling him to get out of the band and that they suck without tom. It's gotta weigh on him

 

But then he gets his paycheck and I'm sure he forgets all those comments.

 

And the comments on this video are insane. People suck.

 

Do the people commenting that Matt sings "out of tune" actually think Tom sings in tune? Lol

 

This might sound dumb, does that mean he only hears the click? No other instruments or singing at all?

Actually he said he has nothing but click in his in-ears but he only wears one in ear monitor and he listen to everything else with the open ear. Probably from an on stage monitor on that side. Still, kind of crazy haha.

 

Ohhhh okay. I don't see that really being harder, just more boring to play to lol.

 

Matt is amazing! I would be happy if he and Tom were in the band.
