Goldfinger – “Tijuana Sunrise”

Sounds good. Definitely the best of the 3 I've heard so far.

 

Love Goldfinger, John is so underrated.

"Am I Deaf" is still the best one of three new songs, not feeling this at all.. This comes from a fan who thinks "Hangs Up" is a classic 90's ska-punk album..I Need to know, Carlita, 20 cent Goodbye are on another level compare to this.. chorus is weak af

"Am I Deaf" should be their first single/music video IMO

 

"Am I Deaf" is the worst song on the album.

This is my first time hearing it, but I like this a lot

 

Maaan... that 12 year old attitude..but if you actually felt better then I'm happy for you Even tho it would be much better to let me know what's so bad with "Am I Deaf" instead of bringing up last weeks arguments. Can you stick to the topic and have a polite conversation about music? As I said, Tijuana Sunrise has a pretty weak chorus (in my PERSONAL opinion) not even close as catchy as the classic ska GF tunes, on the other hand, Am I Deaf has a nice throwback '00s Stomping Ground sound, great message, catchy powerchord-based-guitar hook with memorable na-na-nas and badass gang vocals, also, loved Feldmanns raspy voice towards the end of song! With a nice music video I can see this doing pretty well (at least better than the other two songs.)

Should I go dig and bring up some of your old arguments from some other threads or can we discuss about music like civilized people?

Hmph. Not bad. I could get used to this. It's not planetary invasion soundtrack material by any means, but I like this.

I was a bit put off by that atrocity farce of a song that sounded like a Saibaman attempting to be Goldfinger also known as 'Am I Deaf'. But this song perhaps shows that Goldfinger isn't quite Krillin It yet.

 

This song is groovy, and I'm enjoying it a ton right now =)

Seriously, it's so much better than the other songs that were released =D

 

After listening to the full record about 4 times, I'd have to give that award to Orthodontist Girl. Even as a joke song I don't get it, much like the one from Blink's Cali deluxe

 

That one is weak too.
