State Champs – “Slow Burn”

Not digging this. Stepping off the State Champs train

 

Meh.

 

Yeah, those lyrics are horrendous. I actually felt myself cringe. I've never seen a band go downhill so fast, The Finer Things was a banger.

 

This song just isn't great in any way. Last album was pretty average but they are a talented band so look forward to the next album and hope it will progress a bit.

 

Thought this was average at first but it's starting to grow on me...

 

Can't get into this band at all I've seen them live and tried again. Just not for me I guess.

 

It's a State Champs song. Plain and simple. They do not seem like the type of band that is going to release a song/album that brings them an entirely new set of fans. At this point you're either onboard or you aren't.

I happen to be onboard and just enjoy them for what they are. Catchy-ish pop punk with lyrics that will never blow you away.

 

They need a really good producer for the next album to get it right...love em still

 

Based on one song? I don't like it but they can make mistakes hahaha

 

I really like the chorus, to each their own

 

Somehow just stumbled upon this. I love this chorus.
