Run for Cover Records will be donating 25 cents for every website order over the next year to a charitable organization:

In the wake of repeated harmful speech and actions by the Trump administration, we at Run For Cover feel compelled to use the platform you’ve afforded us to help protect the rights of marginalized people, raise awareness of injustice, and defend human rights in any way we can. Like many of our artists and colleagues, we’ve raised both money and awareness for worthy causes over the past few months in an effort to fight back against our failing political leadership, but we can always do more.
    Press Release

In the wake of repeated harmful speech and actions by the Trump administration, Boston-based Run For Cover Records is announcing their commitment to fighting back with the Rally For Change initiative. Run For Cover says “We feel compelled to use the platform our community has afforded us to fight back – to protect the rights of marginalized people, raise awareness of injustice, and defend human rights in any way possible.”
Over the past year, the label (which includes artists such as Pinegrove, Modern Baseball, Turnover, Tigers Jaw, Citizen, and Basement, among others) has raised nearly $30,000 for organizations including Planned Parenthood, Finex House, and the ACLU. Today Run For Cover is excited to announce their commitment to fighting back with Rally For Change.

This year, Run For Cover is committing to donating 25 cents for each RFC Webstore order to a charitable organization. The label will choose a different organization to support every month and highlight it on their website along with information about what they do and how individuals can help.

Each month they will also host an intimate show at the Run For Cover Records office in Boston. All proceeds from the show will be donated to a charity of the artist’s choosing and that charity will be highlighted on their website as well. The shows will be live streamed and viewers who are not able to attend in person will have the option to make donations to the selected charity at that time. The first three shows will be Christian Holden of The Hotelier in February, Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove in March and Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz and Sad13 in April. More details on the shows are coming soon.

Cool - now I have a reason to spend way more money on records. They were charging like 15 dollars more for TDAG last time I checked. >-p:seeno::speakno:
