  2. The two best (only?) concept bands, touring together. One for the ages. Can't wait.

    plenty of other concept bands, GWAR & Defeater come to mind, but these two are some of the best.

    Closure in Moscow had a fantastic concept album with Pink Lemonade. Not to mention The Mars Volta are a concept album band and are legends in my perspective (but are broken up). Thrice's Alchemy Index is one of my favorite concept projects, but they aren't really a concept band. But yeah, I agree that they really are the only 2 telling a continuous story on every album (except TCBTS, TCS, and Migrant). STOKED

  8. Oh yeah. I love Defeater. Funny that I've never really placed them in the "concept band" category in my head.

    I don't think this is gonna work out for me, might have an unmovable final during the Philly date ;_;

    I don't think so because from the previous neverender tours the vinyl was part of the VIP experience. Might they come at a later date? Possibly but I don't think so.

    Another one that just came to mind for me, although I don't know if others perceive them as a concept band is Trophy Scars. Although it was only their later albums that used concepts, and in some cases would only apply to sequences of songs within their albums.

    I think I heard an argument that Bad Luck's vignettes are all supposed to relate. Not sure how I feel about it though.

    Coheed + Dear Hunter was enough to convince me to buy tickets the minute the presale started today.

    So pumped.
