Classic FFTL. Dammit it feels like 2004 again

 

I thought maybe it was just Sonny and Matt but according to their Instagram, it's the four "original" dudes from Dear diary.

 

This is the best FFTL song since "Note to Self"

 

Ehhh, I think Spencer would've been a better vocalist on this but it's ok for what it is.

thoughts on skrillex and FFTL aside, i think its awesome someone as big as sonny would do this. song is solid too.

Sounds like I'm in the minority, but it doesn't sound like "classic FFTL" at all to me. Still pretty excited about this reunion.

 

Seconded. This doesn't sound like FFTL with Sonny, or FFTL post-Sonny. It's just... bad in my opinion.

 

Song is whatever. The only good thing these guys have ever done is Heroine. Throne to the Wolves was fun musically but pretty forgettable overall.

 

I know a lot of people like there stuff post sonny unfortunately I never listened to it and I'm honestly not going too haha. For me this band is only dear diary. Song is whatever and would be stoked on a tour. But this is sick considering this band has been doing nothing and strillex fucking blew up.

 

I wonder how a new FFTL tour would do with him in the band.

 

How anyone can like Sonny's vocals is still an enigma to me.

 

our scene has way too many bad vocalists for me to give a second thought to sonny's lol

 

Man nostalgia is a thing (myself included) love. I would imagine just as well as the last tour sonny did with them.

Song is alright. I'm agreed that Heroine is the best thing this band has ever and (judging by this song) will ever do.

 

I had fun listening to this. So that was Sonny on vocals, not Matt? I honestly couldn't tell.

 

I'm pretty sure it's Matt singing the verses and Sonny singing the chorus.

 

Yeah put me in the FFTL was better post Sonny camp. S/T and Throne To The Wolves were fun. But I'll listen to whatever they put out anyway.

 

I really like the idea that Sonny is making music with FFTL again; however, this song is marred by terrible (weirdly sexual) lyrics. It's a shame because, otherwise, it would be a great track.
