I feel like that album has an insane amount of hype and discussion when it dropped, but almost immediately disappeared. Personally I thought it was interesting and cool that he did something "different" but I didn't think it hit at all, thought what I heard was pretty bad despite being different

his last album surprised me on first listen but it had virtually no staying power, and his entire presence on the songs felt dare-I-say whitewashed. in hindsight it's a bizarre album to think back on.

They're south of the Mason Dixon Line because they were slave states before the civil war (when the Mason Dixon line was made), but they sided with the Union against the Confederacy in the civil war and didn't go through reconstruction like the south did. Today Maryland and Delaware are generally considered where the Northeast starts culturally, while there are still some rural parts that are culturally southern. Northern Delaware is basically the Philly suburbs and Baltimore very much feels like a northern city. The Maryland accent itself is almost like a bizarre hybrid of the southern and Pennsylvania accents.

I'm facebook friends with Jason "Blackball" McClean (the Keep Em Separated guy) who is a long time friend of the band, and he said he has heard the whole album and that there are no skippable tracks, and the drums are the best they've been on any album. I'll hold him to that haha

that was probably the most moving video game experience I’ve ever had. It took me a year to see it to the end but I always knew I’d come back to wrap it up when I initially put it down. I’m glad I did because the final stretch of the story had some of the best handcrafted content in the game. What else is there to say? It’s a 10/10 for me. I’m going to have to go back and play all of breath of the wild now since I only ever did the first divine beast in that game. But what I REALLY want to do is play one of the old Zelda titles I’ve never touched. Windwaker or link to the past or a link between worlds of twilight princess….

You don't have to be in the south to be south For example Delaware and Maryland, both considered northeastern states, but their southern parts are basically an extension of Virginia culturally. Southern parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois all midwestern states are pretty much northern Kentucky.
